These rare baroque wooden candle sconces are carved in the shape of an extended arm, painted and gilded.
These rare baroque wooden candle sconces are carved in the shape of an extended arm, painted and gilded.
The base is a rectangular cartouche shape, enriched with carved foliate scrolling volutes. Bursting from the center oval reserve is an oustrectehd and fully dressed arm, extending a hand to hold taper candles, complete with a drip pan base. Sconces are decorative and intended to hold taper candles when affixed to the wall. Sold only as a set.
